I have mine done at Staples. I used to cost about $8.00. I only had one book spoiled because the previous clerk didn't clean out the machine and my book was cut crooked. They didn't charge me for it and it only affected about 10 pages.
My only complaint about it was that it was my Dear Jane book and was fairly expensive. Now I tell them to be sure the machine is cleaned out so it doesn't happen again. I have had about 10 books spiral bound and have a couple more to be done.

The manager should have paid for a new book or given you store credit. I would have been very upset because of employee error ruined my book. Employee was not trained or didn't care.

I went to Staples last week and had 142 pages bound for $5.25 plus tax. That is a bargain!

This board is wonderful. I was wondering the same thing. Thanks.

I've done this with new books cause they're easier to use when they lay flat. I've also had books spiral bound when their glue failed and the pages were falling out. Definitely worth the cost.
