I have been using cotton batting on my swiffer for a couple of months now and I love it. It picks up cat and dog hair, dirt and anything else. I won't go back to the pads made for swiffers, not when scraps of batting are abundant supply.

You can rewash, reuse right? Cool idea. I've been wanting to buy one of those but didn't want to have to keep buying the pads
