we are about 1/2out of Philadelphia and we got about 7 fresh inches and scary winds...all stay warm!

I'm in upstate NY and we just got the wind. No new snow to speak of, and there wasn't much before. I can still see my grass.

I'm sure it will show up eventually.

I live in NW MA and we have about 2ft, still snowing, and blowing. Some drifts are 4ft. Road crews have not been able to keep up.

In 1957 my husband was stationed at Ft. Monmoth and we lived in Belmar. We had a hugh snow and he couldn't get to work and we even had helicopter drops from the fort. Took about a week to get dug out. Moved to Albuquerque just before the next one came.

Boy do we have snow. We got more then 2' between Sunday and Monday and the wind blew the snow around the back so that around the deck in the back it was hip level on me. We have 4 short legged basset hounds-Glenn had to shovel paths through the back yard so they can go out. The snow is so high we can't see them when they are outside although as cold as it is they don't stay out long.

I live a little bit north of Belmar and Ft. Monmouth. Being near the coast we usually get less snow than other areas but this snow storm really hit the towns along the coastal areas. Yesterday DH could only clear a path down the driveway between our cars, cars are still snowed in and snow on front walk too high to clear so we'll be using garage to go in and out of the house. This year because of arthritis I started using a cane to walk so I think I better stay indoors until there is dry land to walk on. May
