my sister Merri was only 2 years older than my son. He called my mom grandma Merri but her name was Janet. My dad was grandpa grump because he was grumpy a lot.

My Grandparents were already deceased on both sides of my parents,,,,One GD calls me Mawmaw Pat,Pat,,,the other one calls me Mawmaw,,,,Papaw Porkie-Pig is what they call their Grand paw

My 8 and 9 yr old grandsons call me Granmom. But my 3 yr old grandson (different mom and dad than the two older grandsons) calls me HeeHaw. I suspect his other grandmother taught him this.
