nice to hear good stories....but as we all know, the service anyone receives depends on the sales clerk...some are there to really help you and some do not want to be bother...glad you got a good :-)

Glad to hear. I've not had a bad experience yet at Joann's. Some clerks are more knowledgeable than others, but, haven't had problems.

Do you know how much Joann's pays an hour? I started working for them back in '99 and there were so many talented employees. They used to give more money per hour depending on your knowledge and experience. It is not that way anymore.
As far as her good service, it's so nice to hear stories like that.
I had a classmate who worked at Joann's about 6 years ago and she said they paid minimum wage except for management. Also, the Joann's I'm talking about is not in the best part of town. It's been robbed quite a few times. It's an easy target because it's near a highway. Being robbed may be a deterrent for some people on wanting to work there. Some grocery stores near me have officers standing guard at the doors watching the register. Just not always an ideal to place to work, making it hard to find qualified people.
