Gretal should be my new name! Or PigPen?
According to my husband, he can always tell what I've done during the day, what rooms I've been to, whether I went outside, and how many times I've opened the frig by looking at the trail of thread, scraps, and bits of material I've left behind ( I think he's making up the frig part). In a local bird's nest we've spotted material bits from a quilt I worked on in the spring. I have no carpeting so everything shows up like a beacon. Really adds some interest to the dust bunnies.

My husband says he can "track" me by the threads. I have a terrible habit of not sweeping the floors (no carpet here either) in my sewing room until I'm at a stopping point or the threads and scraps keep my chair from rolling! I keep a lint roller on my sewing table in easy reach, but forget to roll myself more often than not!

Same here! I saw a bumper sticker that read "Quilters come with strings attached"--thought it was very appropriate LOL.

You ladies should invest in roombas. You can program them to clean whenever you want an all evidence of your trais will be gone, except for going outside, of course.

I don't mind in the house because the vacuum will clean them up. I do mind when I look down at the Walmart checkout to get my wallet and notice .....half the sewing room stuck to me! I now inspect myself before getting out of the car. Of course that does not help with the rear view but at least I can't see that.:D

LOL too funny!

That is really funny!

Well if you ever get lost he'll know how to find you. Or all you'll have to do is back-track!
|
I'm with you - no matter how hard I try I have threads attached!!
|
I find strings on my washed and dried clothes. What I'm wearing. My dish cloths The floor, everywhere.
