Halloween is a bad time to be quilting..or sewing...I just love candy corn! It is my favorite candy in the whole world! I only by it this time of the year....I can eat a whole bag while I am sewing or hand quilting...I am trying so hard not to buy a bag but so hard to resist!!! :lol:

Oh, I agree completely. I don't get the treats for the kiddies until a few days before.

OMG - I'm so glad I am not the only one addicted to candy corn. I buy several bags at Halloween time and then go back to get more bags once they are clearanced down after Halloween. My other candy addiction is Kraft Caramels. So YUMMY!!

And why do I like these kind that are pure sugar? I wish I liked something like dark chocolate that at least has some health benefits.

I also love candy corn at this time of year. :) I mix dry roasted peanuts along with mine, so it is not soo sweet. But it is still addicting. :)

I love the pumpkins and corn. Oh man. It is that time again..... There is a Russell Stover warehouse on the way to Louisiana and I stop in there and buy baskets full of candy from all holidays. Man.......I feel the calories coming on.

Yes, this time of year, all the Fun Size and Bite Size candy available is just way too tempting. And candy corn, it leaves nothing on your fingers, so you can eat it and handle fabric at the same time! YIKES! Once it's over, then its the Christmas Candy!

I love the cany corn too but I have convinced myself that it is nasty so I don't buy it anymore. Now I am trying to do the same with chocolate and ice cream.

I can't believe they have Halloween candy in the stores already, as of early Sept. - i guess they have to have SOMETHING in the seasonal aisle.

Warning: If you eat the entire bag of candy corn, it will make you sick. Just believe me. I have to protect the quilty. I know that person very well.

I did manage to put the bag back on the shelf the other day...but a bag of Tootsie Rolls snuck into the cart and found there way into the house....I keep hoping that the guys will find them...but so far, I'm the only one eating them.

I walk by it and say I don't need it then say yuck!! Eventually I stop craving it and when I look at it my tummy turns. DD hates this because I won't buy any chocolate. Now the ice cream that's another story but I haven't bought any so so far so good. Lol. Fingers crossed.

I have been sitting here eating BRACHS CANDY CORN ever since I logged on this afternoon . lol! It's the beginning of fall :) we need to celebrate getting through the end of summer!!

It's one of my favorite candies too. Sooooo good.

Mix candy corn with peanuts and you will have the taste of Payday. Don't eat the whole bag at a time. You may end up like me and have diabetes. I used to love it, and still do, but a taste will do me now.

Wayyyy too much sugar for me - I'm diabetic, BUT, I do sneak in one or two pieces.

Barb of Vermont - they also have Christmas items out. I don't know why they just don't leave them out year 'round, which they probably will - some day.

OMG!!! I am a huge nut for candy corn, I buy bags & bags of candy corn because its so seasonal.. Ill have as many as 12 bags in my house!!!!! and if and when I find it on the clearance after Halloween, OMG Ill take it all..

I recently found out that Bass Pro has them year round !!!!! WHOO HOO !!!, so now I don't have to buy gobs & gobs at once anymore... LOL

Yummmm - try it mixed half and half with peanuts. There's a little nutritional value that way so you can justify indulging :D

while hand is coming out of the candy corn bag.....I buy three bags, just about make myself sick, then I'm good for another year. I love Candy Corn at Halloween, Jelly Beans at easter, I'm a seasonal candy eater.

Not only is candy corn a problem, but peanut butter taffy in orange and black wrappers and when I can find them, black jack taffy.

I love candy corn, but it does not love me back. :( It makes me very sick the day after, so I tell myself its poison, and I can't eat it. ;)

Have you left them in plain sight for the men to find them? I find that to be very helpful. :mrgreen:

Does any one know if they still make circus peanuts? My dad was addicted to the silly things. I like Belgium Chocolates, and those sinful chocolate covered fruits from Walmart. Did someone mention Candy corn???? Oh no! I will force myself to buy only one bag. Really. I promise. Don't watch me....
