here's my distraction, my grandson Greyson. He was born May 22 and I haven't been able to get a thing done in my sewing room. The problem is, he has a cousin, Samuel, who was born on May 17 but lives in VA. I am excited to say we will be going down there in July to finally meet him and see his big brother but I have to finish his quilt before we go. I just can't refuse going over to see Greyson at every chance I get.

Congrats to you, Grandma! What a fine, handsome boy. He looks pretty fascinated by you also.
Isn't he a sweetie??? I can understand your delimma...
Awwww what a precious little guy :D:D:D
Oooo...he's so YUMMY!!! :D :D :D
I'd take a sewing hiatus to snuggle him, too! |
I sympathise with your problem. Only solution, recruit him as helper. You can never start too early
He's adorable!!! Can see why you are so easily distracted!
Forget the sewing, I would enjoy watching and playing with him! :)
He is adorable. I'd let the sewing and the dust bunnies collect with him nearby! Congrats and enjoy!
So cute. Give him a hug and kiss from me while you are at it.
Soo cute! I waant one!!!!
I don't blame you in the least. Enjoy him!
Wow, he is very alert, isn't he and cute as can be. Congratulations! I would have trouble focusing on something else too.
Congratulations on the new one, he's sure a cutie. And they grow up so fast...
Don't forget to take Samuel's brother something, big brothers and sisters seem to get the short shaft when presents are concerned. |
He's a cutie and sure needs gramma kisses and snuggles. You've definitely got your priorities right; sewing can wait :D
So many kissable parts. I fully understand your dilema. I don't get to so much anymore due to my sweet Lily, born October 1st. I watch her three days a week and I do mean WATCH her. She is just amazing. She smiles and giggles all the time... Such a happy little girl. Being a grandparent is the BEST.
Just look at hi. No wonder you cannot resist him.
He is absolutely the handsomest little person I have ever seen. His little face would be chapped by too many kisses if he were mine.
YES, reading this newsletter everyday. I just love it!
He would definitely distract me! Adorable...God bless him.
what a cutie, love those fat chubby cheeks. I call my youngest grandson who is 4, Mr. Fat Cheeks, he still has that baby fat. But then he calls me girl grandpa or just grandpa.
What a beautiful baby, looks to really be paying attention for so young.
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
He will only be a baby once so enjoy it now.

Don't have any grandbabys yet, but this site has been my DISTRACTION..LOL!
Congrats grandma! What a great distraction.
Isn't he adorable. How fortunate to have such a beautiful grand baby.:):):)
What a cutie. Congrats. I probably wouldn't be sewing either.
maybe he could be your mini-inspector and come over and stay in your quilting room with you while you work. his mom could come, too, in case he needs anything while he's there. he could sit up on your sewing table to geta first hand eye to eye lesson. it could work?!!! at least we know he won't run with scissors!
btw, he's gorgeous! |
What a precious cutie!!
Enjoy him! |
Heck with the sewing -Hold him til he's 18!
I can understand He's a cutie and sure needs gramma kisses and snuggles who would not be SO DISTRACTED. You just have to make some time though.
Congratulations!!! I understand completely!!! I used to put my grandson in a playpen near my longarm, when he was old enough to sit up and play I included a piece of fabric in with his toys. Later, we hung the Johnny Jump-up by the machine.....Now my grandson is eight years old. His trains and Legos are are there and he loves to help me quilt! He doesn't live with me anymore but I love how easily we resume our schedule when he visits.
Oh he's to cute. I wouldn't get anything done either. Congrats to you he's sweet. Sue
He is absolutely adorable. I can see why you would get distracted. Grandbabies are so much fun.
I can't think of a better distraction! When my grand daughter comes over, all I want to do is play.
