Have you ever said "where are my glasses?"

Since I need glasses to read directions, sew, quilt, and various other daily tasks; they are sometimes on my head or stuck in the neck of my shirt, and when I bend over they go crashing to the floor! Sometimes I have two pairs on my head and other times I can't find one! AAAH!
This is all fairly new to me since I always had really great vision until TA DA, Middle-Ageness set in! Flipping glasses on and off is a real pain! I tried those pretty neck chains for glasses and got them caught on whatever and all the beads come flying off! I'm constantly slapping myself silly to see if I have glasses on my head! UGH! So I came up with this simple idea for keeping my glasses handy all the time! Try it for yourself! |
Great idea. Thanks for sharing

yes, good idea. i have my RX glasses downstairs by the chair by the t.v. I have store bought ones in the sewing room and by the computer downstairs. then i have three or four more store bought ones upstairs scattered around. I feel like Fred Sandford who always had a drawer full of them!!!

Great idea and very pretty! I solved the problem by keeping a pair in each of the main rooms of the house so I don't have to search for them. :-D

Glasses are like scissors, you can never have too many pairs. I like your idea for keeping yours close!

Cute idea!

Usually when they are not sitting on my bedside table in the morning. I can't see a thing without them and go into a panic when I can't find them.
Your little holder is a cleaver and cute idea. |
And I thought I was the only one that had glasses by the bed, in the sewing room, at my computer, in the living room and a fold up pair in my pocket. Now I can tell my DH that like the sewing machines I seem to keep finding, yes, I need glasses in every room. HAHAHA
