I was so happy the other day, my DH said, "For your birthday this year I'll get you some new glasses, make an appointment." I did, then went to Walmart and got new glasses. I picked them up Sunday afternoon. Since my prescription is so strong I didn't start wearing them until Monday morning. Different everything---so much so that my stomach got a little upset. Okay, I just need time to adjust to new lenses, right? Wrong! I tried to drive last night and had a horrible time. Today the same thing. I found out that if I close my left eye the headache isn't quite so bad and I can see fine. If I close my right eye my vision must be twice as good in my left eye because I'm seeing two of everything. AAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK! I'm going back tomorrow, something just isn't right with these things.

Take those glasses back ASAP

I called them today while I was in town but I didn't have my old glasses with me and they said that they might have to keep these to redo them. I'm going tomorrow. The longer I wear these the more nauseous I become---especially after having to drive all day.

Aw, hope they get fixed soon!

Take them back.

I have heard from others with problems from Walmart.
Don't let them give you any hassle either.

Our Wal-mart is good at (trying to) making things right....DH had to take his back they had to redo the lens...but then when he was checked at different eye doc...we found out he had cataracts..had them removed and got multi-focal lens..never needs any glasses not even to read....not covered by insurance because they are new. I changed eye docs too.

Sounds like they got the prescription wrong!! Yikes!!

It took me forever to used to my new glasses this time, i usually get a new pair about every 2 years, (that is when insurance allows), but it was over a week of getting used to them, i thought i was going to have to take them back but it finally became ok. I was going through the same things.

Stop wearing them, and take them back tomorrow. Sometimes problems happen with them. I used to have 2 stigmatisms and sometimes it was a matter of being tweaked the wrong way. That's all it takes to have them make you feel that way. The BEST pair (and I work glass for almost 50 yrs) I got at Walmart!!! But there is definately something wrong with them. And I don't buy the "they'll take a while for you to adjust" comments either. I had a specialist that told me that that isn't true and to NOT accept them when you're in the office if they're off. You'll sometimes notice a SLIGHT difference....but should NEVER make you nauseous or dizzy!
