Happens occasionally. The skies are getting crowded and signals are bumping into and bouncing off each other. Think of the highway at rush hour, with everyone jockeying for the fastest route home. You get lane jumpers, drivers on the shoulder of the road, etc. The same thing is happening up there in the sky with the transmitters.

My neighbour and his son used to listen to me every night at 8 o'clock read my son his bedtime story. They could hear it loud and clear over the baby monitor and didn't bother to tell me for months. The boys were about the same age and his son loved my stories. It kind of bothered me when I finally found out.
