Late last night after falling asleep watching t.v. I posted a joke on here...I am truly sorry, in retrospect I see it was not a good idea. I apologize to anyone who found it offensive. My only excuse is I was groggy and not thinking straight.

CarrieAnne 11-04-2010 08:15 AM

You must have been sleepy because I have never found any of your jokes offensive.

zennia 11-04-2010 09:49 AM

Don't feel bad. Your jokes are the highlight of our day. We look forward to them. My hubby is always waiting to hear them to.

loopywren 11-04-2010 09:54 AM

Cannot imagine which one you mean, your jokes are always good and you have no idea how often you make my day so much happier. Don't worry about it.

mrs theo 11-04-2010 09:57 AM

I've never seen a joke of yours that hasn't made me laugh or at least smile...I'm sure you're being too hard on yourself!

brookemarie19 11-04-2010 10:34 AM

I've always like your jokes... don't know which one you were refering to, but I'm sure it couldn't have been too bad. Keep 'em coming, I love to read your dailies!

lynnie 11-04-2010 10:44 AM

i have a quirky sense of humor, and ALWAYS look forward to your jokes, none have ever been offensive, just rol funny

luvTooQuilt 11-04-2010 10:46 AM

Same here- Love your joke.. You Ditter have a huge heart, cant imagine you ever hurting or offending anyone purposely..

virtualbernie 11-04-2010 10:57 AM

I know the joke you are talking about and it did give me pause for a split second (if for even that long) then I considered the source and felt no bad feelings. If it had been from someone else I didn't "know" it may have been a different story. We all need to be able to laugh at ourselves. I love your jokes please keep them coming.

Lori S 11-04-2010 11:06 AM

Not sure which one you are refering too, as I find all you post funny. Do not be so hard on yourself!

leaha 11-04-2010 11:18 AM

we know you would never send off a joke to hurt anyone on purpose, so no worries! keep the LOL coming we need to laugh at ourselfs, and out loud!

That was EXACTLY how I responded. I have read SO many of your jokes that I knew you would never intentionally offend anyone. I just kind of did a double take and thought "well....I'll just let that one alone"....LOL. Bottom line, you realized how it could be offensive and removed it. I always look for your funnies....they make my day!!!!

patricej 11-04-2010 06:03 PM

we all make mistakes. the most important thing is that we all know you're a good person. that's what we'll remember. ;-)

tolepainter54 11-04-2010 06:39 PM

I also didn't see it, but I love your jokes and stories. Don't let it stop you! Thanks for all the laughs.

CarrieAnne 11-04-2010 07:03 PM

Yes, please dont stop the jokes, okay?!?!/!

trisha 11-04-2010 07:06 PM

Well ya know what? I read the joke, but I too was so tired that I don't even remember it, but am sure I must have laughed out loud!!! Didn't I???

Charlee 11-04-2010 07:13 PM

Ditter...you've provided many genuine smiles to me, and I live a life of customer service...laden with phoney smiles all day. You've no idea how much I appreciate you!!
(And I didn't see it...you'll have to PM me with it!! )

Ileen 11-04-2010 08:49 PM

I Didn't see it, Keep them coming. I Enjoy them.

pookie ookie 11-04-2010 08:57 PM

Now that sounds like a good one. Sorry I missed it.

Humor has to be offensive to someone. It wouldn't be funny otherwise. Context is everything. People love ya. They'll get over it.

C.Cal Quilt Girl 11-04-2010 09:00 PM

Wow, now I want to read it.... Boo Boos happen good rules over the bad every time, and you hit Funny and bring Smiles daily!!! Thanks, sometimes I really need those Smiles:)

patsyo56721 11-05-2010 04:16 AM

I don't remember seeing one that was offensive so I guess I misised it.

sandpat 11-05-2010 05:49 AM

Well, I missed it...

hannajo 11-05-2010 05:55 AM

This is a good example for all of us. When we make a mistake (no matter how small or big), we need to just say sorry, do what we can to change it, then move on. The world would be a much better place if more of us did this.

BTW, I didn't read the joke, but of course I'm curious about it now.

redkimba 11-05-2010 06:00 AM

I think that I read the joke and being extremely mildly miffed by it, but since 99.99999999% of your jokes are so funny I just ignored it. Now I can't even remember what the joke was.

Please keep posting jokes. They often break up my day in a good way.

SharonG 11-05-2010 06:07 AM

Well, Ditter, you're just making me post on this one then I'll have to go and introduce myself! I didn't see the joke either, but maybe you'll tell me tomorrow.....

Connie Merritt 11-05-2010 06:14 AM

Hey, we best learn to laugh at ourselves first. That said, I do not know of the joke of which you speak. But I think that you would never try to hurt ones feelings. Keep the laughter coming. We need it.

GGquilts 11-05-2010 06:16 AM

didn't see it. In our house I say to DH, "our you ready for a Ditter". you make me laugh and I thank you.

Roberta 11-05-2010 06:23 AM

I wait patiently while reading the Board to come across your smile for my day.

amandasgramma 11-05-2010 06:34 AM
