Here is my Granddaugther sewing!
 

I taught my 9 yr. old Granddaugther how to make her first pillow case. She is a natural!! I told her for CHRISTmas I will get her a sewing machine. It will be fun for me to machine shop for her.

Yes, she is my girl. I babysat her since she was born so we really have a very close bond. I am crazy about her and she knows it. She has a 4 1/2 yr. old brother and he wants to sew now too!:)

Lucky you! My granddaughter is 6, and I'm not sure if she has an inclination for sewing or not. She lives about 3 hours away, and doesn't get down this way often. I'd sure love to spend more time with her. Problem is, I work pretty much full time, so my going to visit her doesn't happen as often as I'd like to MAKE it happen.
