WHen my kids' father got sick I stopped watching soap operas. (Had enough drama in my life without that stuff). As he got sicker I struck off the list all the hospital shows and forensic shows. When he died I gave up on Survivor and the Greatest Race type reality shows... they call that real life? And since then (8 years now) I have stuck to 1/2 hr comedies and game shows. As my children have healed it has been easier to watch TV again, but I really don't miss that stuff. It just hurt my mind. (Had a student in school who used that expression whenever I asked him to try and do his work... It just hurts my mind. |

I don't like the Halloween stuff either, and even the NCIS marathon had a Halloween theme. No TV for me. Just music

I did not know there were DVD's of Doc Martin. Now he is an semi-old curmudgeon! I will check my Costco. THank you.
Criminal Minds and Stephen King scare me to much to watch/read. HGTV and "The GOOD WIFE". |
Who needs TV--if I don't like the programming, there are movies for loan at our town library, as well as books and magazines. And, music through a variety of venues. Don't get me wrong, I watch TV when it suits me, but really enjoy the other choices, too. piecefully, the old one

Not into horror movies, or I Love Lucy (yuk)

October is one of my favorite months of the year because I DO like to watch all the horror movies.
|
I hate the Halloween shows and absolutely never watch them. I think I'm probably in the minority however.
|
I'm not in to horror films. Just didn't watch much TV this week.
