It was 115 degrees on our patio to-day, (in the sun) DE.
Way too hot.

Robinmg 06-09-2011 04:11 PM

Right now we are at 50 degrees. It has been raining on and off all week. We are waiting to see if the Yellowstone River is going to flood. It is supposed to reach its peak tomorrow or Saturday. My house is in the flood plain but its on the far edge so we are hopeful.

We broke a record here in Minnesota too, can you believe it! 102 degrees. Today, its only 67 degrees.

Hot, Hot, Hot here in Jersey too. So hot here that DH turned the AC on himself, now that's a first as his way of dealing with the heat is to sit in his chair reading and watching TV with a cup of coffee while wearing his undies. Ran out to the farm market this morning and worked up a sweat getting into the hot car.

NANAOF2BOYS 06-09-2011 06:58 PM

MY DD is in Loraine so hope shes not wilting guess will have to text her to see if she is staying cool :)

Minnisewta 06-09-2011 08:08 PM

It was 103 in St. Paul,MN on Tuesday and today it was about 68. Life is never dull in Minnesota.

SandyinZ4 06-09-2011 08:20 PM

I have to join IdahoSandy and say that it was a cold day here in Idaho. We even had snow for about an hour which covered the lawn for a while. It did melt though. I think my lilacs might bloom around July 4th this year if they don't freeze first!:-)I don't envy those of you who have temps higher than 80!

donnalynett 06-09-2011 09:48 PM

We've had a heat wave here also.....got up to 66 degrees today.

Momsmurf 06-09-2011 10:48 PM

Here in the PNW it got up to the low 70's..close to normal I think..yesterday we were 10 degrees BELOW normal.

The mountains on the Big Island of Hawaii got 8" of snow today...a bit unusual for this time of the year, and they are under a Winter Storm Warning! Go Figure!

Will have to check with my classmate back there to see if they're in the market for more quilts.

Bet you don't want to know about the article I read that said hot summers are the wave of the future.

Ugh, girl!!! Don't want to read it, lol.

We had the bad storms yesterday evening. Tornado sirens going off, one spotted just west of us. We got torrential rains, small hail and lots of wind. Don't think I need to water the flowers today. It is 71 now.
