For So Cal, that's COLD!! :) |
It is cold for us here in So. Calif. Down to the 30's and 40's at night and 50's and 60's during the day. Antelope Valley below 20 at night. But the sun is shining now and it is beautiful. Hard to believe how dark and rainy it was just a couple of days ago. Great weather for sewing.

Woke up to a heat wave this morning. Plus 3 C. (37.4 F.) earlier this week it was down to -29 C (- 20 F) but with the wind chill factor it was more like -39C (-38 F) YES WE were cold; so that's why today feels like a heatwave.

Woke up to a -4 degrees F., snuggled under the covers for a few minutes more. Then heard that the wind chill was a -17....that's when I got cold!

It's72* here at 3 p.m. But temps are dropping fast have severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings in the area. tonight it's to drop to 34*.Proud to have a wood stove so we don't have to use electric heat.

A cold front is just coming thru -- to drop temps to 50 tonite, and Sat nite maybe down into the mid 30's -- that is cold for us, but today was another Thanksgiving Day with the AC on and everyone in shorts and short sleeves -- temps are relative, but I don't like too hot (and humid) or too cold (below 65) -- we are in planting zone 9 (extreme tip of TX is zone 10) (southeast TX, Gulf Coastal area)and are hoping for gentle rain and not too cold because people here can't drive in the rain well, and certainly have not idea what to do in snow and ice (which are rare in Houston -- everything closes down) -- snow pix are beautiful but I prefer cool and above 65 for my winter -- weird, but TX
