LMBO!! I can see most of these actually happening except for the power line pic.

amandasgramma 01-02-2011 09:52 AM

Funny -- but I feel sorry for some of them!!! Look at that elephant's eyes!!!!

The power line pic is funny, but what IS the animal on the line??? There is a park surrounding the capital bldg in Salem, Oregon. I worked in that complex. Wasn't often, but it's been known to happen that the electricity would go out. Usually, it was because a squirrel got on the transformer or hit a worn spot on the line. When the elec. would go out, we'd say -- 'mmmmm fried squirrel for dinner tonight'....ROL!

amma 01-02-2011 10:09 AM

LOL animals are just as bad as kids!! :D:D:D

Lindsey 01-02-2011 10:16 AM

Its a ram on the power line and the ram could have been up the hill where the power line came out of the ground. He got hooked on it and then slid to where he was off the ground completely. I just want to know how they are going to get that elephant out of that hole..

Luv Quilts and Cats 01-02-2011 10:17 AM

OH MY! I hope they all got out safely!

This! Growing up, we had a beagle who could get into the craziest situations, it was uncanny. One time he got his butt stuck in a clay flowerpot so tight we had to break the pot.

dream56 01-02-2011 10:24 AM

OMG - how do you even begin to get that elephant out?

RatherB Quilting 01-02-2011 10:34 AM

The animals are all wonderful, but a couple of those make my kinda sad. I hope all those animals got the help they needed!
Have a fantastic day everyone and keep your head out of the peanut butter jar...ok?

I always look forward to your stories and pictures. They are so funny.Iknow I will have a good laugh and something funny to show my hubby. Thanks and keep them coming

JAGSD 01-03-2011 07:31 AM

I can just see these happening, Animals are so curious.

We had a yearling that if a bucket was left laying around it was not safe. She found one once that didn't have a bottom in it and yep you guessed it she got her head stuck in it.

quiltymom 01-03-2011 08:02 AM

Everyday I look to see what you have come up with for us I must say I'm never dissapointed!!!!! I feel sorry for animals but I did smile ALOT!!!!!!

leiladylei54 01-03-2011 08:11 AM

Makes me wonder if they are real photos of animals who did these silly things or is it computer generated type photos??? Funny pictures.....but also sad for the animals if they really did get themselves into these situations. I know that I was at the zoo one time with one of the antelope standing there with a bucket on his head so I know animals can do some silly things.

Naturalmama 01-03-2011 08:12 AM

That poor elephant. I can't imagine how they got it out of there...

Animals are so curious. I wish I had run for the camera when we found our dog in a tomato cage. She had gotten herself totally inside and stuck and was soooo embarassed.

Naturalmama 01-03-2011 08:49 AM

Ok, that elephant bothered me so much I had to google -- found a happy ending!

Hopefully the same happened for the little bear. So many funny pics though. Love the cow with the kiddie car on it's head!

Edited - the little bear is ok also, lol!

And even the sheep on the powerline is ok (crazy story!)

lynnie 01-03-2011 10:03 AM

HOW did it happen, if only they could talk

Naturalmama 01-03-2011 10:18 AM

Read some of the stories in the links - especially the sheep on the wire. It actually made it more funny - especially when you know they're all right in the end! :)

Tweety2911 01-03-2011 01:38 PM

Thanks for the wonderful pictures, too funny.

littleone 01-03-2011 02:11 PM

These critters are too funny, thanks for sharing.

Some look so helpless. I love animals. Please tell me they all got rescued.

Glad you posted the follow up links Naturalmama. I can laugh now I know they were rescued. I hope whoever took the pics of the others rescued them also.

Thumbelina 01-03-2011 08:42 PM

I always thought my son was good at that, but that beats all. :P :P :P

ragamuffin 01-03-2011 08:44 PM

Ditter, were all of these animals the male species? I would think so. Maybe dumb blond males!!!

SherriB 01-03-2011 09:13 PM

Oh, that poor elephant!! It looks like it is crying! I would love to know if it got out okay.

kwiltkrazy 01-03-2011 09:21 PM

Oh my goodness, those are just too funny. Thanks for the laughs.

Oh my GOSH! I am so glad you found out about what happened to these animals.. I have to admit that I laughed, but just like most people I love animals and just hate to think of what happens to them.. Since it's late at night I am most grateful to know they are okay and I can sleep peacefully.

purple_butterfly 01-04-2011 12:19 AM

Oh my goodness, nice to know some of them were rescued, hope they all were, but I couldn't help laughing at the cow with the kiddie car on it's head. The other cow is looking at it as much to say "Dude, where did you get that helmet?"

Annaquilts 01-04-2011 12:27 AM

Oh no poor animals. But how did that ram or sheep get in the power wires? I hope they were able to release all those animals.

Keeps Them In Stitches 01-04-2011 12:28 AM

I'm glad to read the animals are being helped. That ram had me wondering if it was dead or alive. The poor elephant had been or was crying when the picture was taken...looked scared to death !
