You have to have priorities....and quilting is at the top of my list!!

You're all so funny! DEBBIE - I laughed at you "ripping something dead out of the freezer for dinner" :)

Things have changed here in the last few months...
I move as quickly as possible when picking up in the morning. Then I *may* tackle some mundane household task like clean the bathrooms or vacuum/sweep/dust or wash the floors...again as quickly as I can move...gets the heart beating and beats going to a gym to run on a treadmill!

DECLUTTERING REALLY HELPS - less to look at - less to move to dust - less to dust. How many knick knacks does a person need around the living room?

Stand at the entrance and look in to see what people would see if they arrived. Light a scented candle and all is well.

(Of course this is only working out this way because I've been home alot more than usual due to cutbacks at work. Still trying to decide if it's :) or :( - but I'll enjoy it while it's here) :)

I had gray carpet put-in because that is the color of dust.

When I was looking at houses I noticed that all the beige carpets had gray around the edge. Lesson learned!

I just did the dust bunnies in...

Little do they know. It is called time management.

Oh man, I feel your pain

I have the same problem. I never used to want to be in front of the computer so much as after I joined this forum. But I find that once I tear myself away, I can stay in the den for two hours or so (the length of a movie, which I listen to while quilting), but then just have to come back and check in with everyone. Ya'll make life a little easier to bear.....thanks ya'll

But hey, I still have kids at home....housework....isn't that why I keep telling them they can't move out until they are 30

Isn't that why we get married - so we'll have someone to do that????

I agree, in the quilt shop the other day, a woman said I have a clean house and I answered and said I don't but I will one day a month. -- J.
