Unfortunately last night I had to work late, so I had none ! But the kids around our area usually go to the mall better treats !LOL We live in an older adult area, so last year I thought there would be more grand kids, but we had about 7 DH stated.
They really push the mall crawl at Halloween here in Western Colorado, as its safe ! Plus the parents will shop as well so it does a double duty- the kids get a "safe environment" and parents get to shop !

Over 300!

It was so nice to see the children dressed up and the dogs too! It was a study flow, beautiful sight. Some of the neighbors gave out hot dogs and chocolate milk, one neighbor even gave 1 Dollar bills.

Many had the fire pit in front of the house, so people could get warmed up too. It was a really nice, fun filled trick or treat night.

No one roaming about in our rural subdivision. Over supper we mused how Halloween was morphing into an adult celebration. Adult costumes take up as much space in the stores as do the ones for kids. Adults wear costumes to work, parties and to the lounges. Restaurants have their wait staff in costume. The Trick or Treating isn't there, but the partying certainly is.

The closest treaters to us are 1 and 4yrs. they would have had to walk 3/4mile to our house on a muddy road...so I deliver to them.
