love them too. I even have a pitter. My late neice would spend an hour picking out the biggest juciest ones in the market. While I just grab a handful. Boy do I miss my neice gretchen.

belmer 07-17-2011 12:45 PM

We had trees when we lived in the So Cal mountains but it usually froze the blooms so not too many cherries.

LOL I think I'll just refer to you as a "Cherry Tart" instead. :)

scraphq 07-17-2011 01:34 PM

Am eating them every day, both sweet and Rainier. Costs an arm and a leg, but eating is something we have to do, so might as well enjoy it!

quiltgrammyt2 07-17-2011 01:44 PM

LOVE the Bing cherries, last week I was watching the grands (7year old & 19 month old). took some to their house and they were eating along while I was cooking lunch and they had little purple fingerprints all over the kitchen LOL ; took a little extra cleaning but oh well!!!! It was their first time having them and they LOVED them   :D :D

Joyce DeBacco 07-17-2011 02:51 PM

They're on sale here for $1.99 and I plan to get some this week. I never tried the Rainer cherries though.

GGquilts 07-17-2011 02:53 PM

I do I do, we have 4 cherry trees 2 sour and 2 sweet, the sweet trees are only a couple of years old so only got about 6 Cherry's off of them. The sour cherry trees are older. but we do have to share with the birds, I made 4 big cherry pies for the freezer, and 1 to eat fresh and we made some cherry juice. Do love Cherry's.

BeckyL 07-17-2011 02:58 PM

Me TOO

The cherries this year were so sweet, the best so far.

Lv2sew2011 07-17-2011 08:22 PM

nyelphaba 07-17-2011 08:22 PM

LittleMo 07-18-2011 12:07 AM

Me too, and you must have had a bumper crop, because US cherries are available in my local supermarket, and I live in the never-never, well Australia anyway.

Scakes 07-18-2011 04:06 AM

Deecee 07-18-2011 04:55 AM

Me too. I live near a cherry orchard but they aren't in season at the moment. Not here anyway.

Eating breakfast while checking out the QB - fresh cherries :)

Tudey 07-18-2011 06:13 AM

too much so! I have no "stop" when it comes to eating cherries and they, unfortunately, have a laxative effect---need I say more?

grammysharon 07-18-2011 06:13 AM

Me! My DH's friend just brought us a couple of bags of black cherries, they were huge as they were picked from the top of the tree!!! Yummy!!!
