A couple of spots around the planter showed tunnels under the leaves to the wall. I'm guessing I woke somebody up and they moseyed (or is that mouseyed?) into our garage. Our four cats, two of whom we know are mousers, have access to the garage thru a door in the kitchen wall. I feel bad for the mouse but how stupid can you get?!

I hope for your sake the mice are real stupid and kitties are really smart! Man, I hate mice! Nothing will ruin my day more than one of those little buggers! <shivers> That's one reason I'm very happy with my Foxie Lady. LOL Crap, I'll give her dog bones if it keeps her coming and cleaning up the rodents here! LOL

I actually got about 90% of the spring cleaning wash done this weekend and only 1 flower bed cleaned out.

I raked a few of the dead patches in the lawn from the princess...and filled a couple of grocery bags with stuff that was around.

The kids decided to pop over to see if my "free" washer was available for a load or two. (they are saving for their wedding)
The other son stopped over with the dog, so we grilled and ate outside at the table. it was over 80.

I helped a neighbor pull old mulch and transplant roses.

I did a TON of yard work this past weekend. Basically I re-claimed my areas from the jungle it became. These are before & after of the back area:

Did some weeding this morning, had plannrd to do more, but these darn legs just don"t let me do ads much as I use to do. Yesterday went shopping for new kitchen flooring, counter tops and paint. My middle son offered to come repaint walls and cabinets and install the flooring if I'd get out and find what I wanted. I'll be busy this week stripping wallpaper from kitchen and dining room, and finding a place to put reverything from the china cabinets and corner cabinet so those can be moced. He came on Sat. and hung new chandelier in dining room for us. Is that a great kid or whatt?!!!

I know what you mean about mice! I'm just glad I'm well protected from critters. The count, in the nine years I've been in this house, is 5 bats, 3 chipmunks, and about a 10 mice, none of whom were invited!! Except for the bats, which are a whole other story, I think my furry ones are catching them in the garage, bringing them into the house thru their cat door, and then playing them to death. At least, I haven't seen any "evidence" that they've been in the house. Oh happy days! :-)
