It got up to almost 90 yesterday. It was also very windy. I did work in the flower gardens a little, but gave up and came inside.

DH and I (mostly him) worked outside almost all weekend, trimming, raking, setting up the patio...etc. What a beautiful weekend! I did sneak in occasionally and sew a few seams...the day just isn't complete unless I've sewn or quilted something!!!

I was outside doing pre-gardening "stuff"... till it got to 84 degrees....and pretty humid. We set a record! Coming out of the harse winter it was a drastic change. It was still hot when I went to bed.

Cleaned up the backyard. Put all the chair cushions out and the canopy back up on the gazebo. Now I hear we are supposed to have rain on Wednesday. :(

It was in the high 80's this weekend and so Saturday I went to my parents to help level their above ground pool (6 hours in the hot sun) Yesterday I cut some limbs and helped the neighbor in their yard and then I got in my pool to clean all the leaves out. I love hot days. Cold hurts my bones.

We have been working outside every day. We are now getting vegetables every day from our garden so I have started canning some.
I spent a couple of days cleaning out the areas around the house and flower beds but, it will take a lot more. I have been fighting sinus problems from all the pollen so I have been really miserable!
We finally got the cover on our greenhouse. We have a hydroponic system set up in there but haven't planted it yet.
We got a really early start on the garden this year because I started so much inside under a grow light. We are growing in raised beds and buckets this year.
Oh by the way, we saw the first tassels on our corn this morning!! We also have blooms on our tomatoes and peppers!   :D
