I'm 47 in people years. In fairy years...well, let's say that can be magical sometimes. Sometimes I feel old when my kids look at me appalled (when I've done something really embarrassing in their opinion) and then so young when someone mistakes me for someone much, much younger.

I'm told by a reliable source that I am 45, although I always have to think about it. I was 27 for the longest time, then my babiest brother (12 years younger, who assigned me that age EONS ago) hit 27 and he realized we couldn't be the same age.

I'd rather act my shoe size than my age, however!

I'm 57 but I sure don't feel that age. I'm stuck in my early 40's and can run rings around most of the people I work with. I laugh a lot and I think that keeps me young.

34 years and if I don't get a party for each birthday I forget I had one. I thought I was 32 for 2 years! lol...I gess I count my years by birthday cakes!

One dad DH and I were out riding our mountain bike on some woods roads. A little old gentleman drove by and waved. Then a few minutes later he came back and stopped to ask if we were lost. DH told him no, he knew where we were, he hunted all over the area all his life. We chatted a while and the gentleman asked how old we were. I told him I'm 55. He said he thought perhaps we were in our 80's like he is. Now that will burst your bubble.

I'm turning 45 in the fall, and was feeling pretty young with a husband 10 years younger, and kids 15 and 12. Then, in the last 2 years I've lost both grandmothers (86 and 90) and my mom (64). I think it was my mom, at her age, that made me feel really, really old, and close to the end of my life. Before that, age didn't bother me at all.

I have been $29.95 for years now ;-), in the real world I am 42 years young, and a Grandma this year :-D, it's funny how that event made me feel less old....Maybe I have a wire short somewhere
