If you can prove this is the reason for no job then you won't have to work again, get a lawyer. Age discrimination is illegal.

We don't have central air, so in the summer it's at whatever our little fans can muster out. In the winter we are fairly limited by our boiler heating (with natural gas). When we have a choice, it's 70 during the morning hours and evening hours, 68 overnight and 68 the rest of the day. I'm the only one home during the day and since I work from home, being a bit on the chilly side keeps me awake so I can work :p. The rest of the winter it's whatever my furnace can pump out. That gets very difficult when it drops below -10.

No central air here either; we have no need for it. Our house is about 63-67 during the day and around 55-60 at night. My sewing room is on the lower level and stays around 55-57, so I have a space heater but I can't heat it to over 62 degrees or I'm way too hot! Our guests are always freezing so we keep Edenpure heaters in the guest rooms!

I like it cool, (others say freezing) I have thermostat 58 at night, and about 68 during the day. Sleep with 1 quilt, and a fan.

I prefer to heat to just 68 to save money. I find it generally tolerable if I wear several layers. DH complained and, when asked what he wanted for Christmas last year, said, "Two degrees." We now keep it at 70, but the propane bill is up.

In the summer, it varies between 78 and 80.

It depends. Some days I just feel colder or warmer than others. Generally, if I break out in a sweat while watching TV, the AC goes down a notch. If I'm shivering with a sweatshirt, jeans and a quilt on my lap, the heat goes up a notch.

I like sleeping in a cooler room, though, so in the winter the heat goes down to 66.
