So great! We vacation in FL a lot, and love to fish. Never got a cobia ... are they good to eat? Redfish are the best, IMHO.

Thats enough fish that Ditter can make us all a nice fish dinner....don't you all think.
Your hubby did good there Ditter. But what is a Cobia? Never heard of those. Where at is that at? My hubby is from ft. Meyers too. He still has family there. |
Great fish!!! My whole family loves fishing too, my DH would love to catch a beauty like that.
WOW!! CAN YOU EAT THAT THING??
I lived in Florida for almost 20 years....That cobia is the reason I miss Florida terribly. Here in SC I have to drive 2 hours to get to the ocean to fish! Lake fishing just isn't the same.

I've only been fishing once, what an experience. No one told be anything about it. My 'bobber' was gone for a while before I figured out I caught something. Tell your hubby Congrat!
can I go with him next time! I have always wanted to go deep sea fishing!
I grew up in Clearwater, FL and Galveston County, TX, and I don't know what a Cobia is. Looks like yummy fish steak, however. Could you enlighten me? Does it taste similar to a dauphin or tuna?
