For you guys that mix 2c sugar to 4c water to keep it from fermenting so fast: should we be doing this too in the hot hot weather????????????????? ( :oops: :oops: So far I have only 1 bird here and there :oops: :oops: I usually have 15 to 30 by now. They skipped me totally one other year too. ?????)

I only see hummingbirds in the late summer/early fall when my Turk's caps are blooming. Don't put out a feeder as I'm away from home a lot.
