sorry. i can't figure out how to get this on post from email. that day that we were all playing with the code stuff i figured it out, but i don't remember how the heck i did it.

here's what i did:


i highlited the email picture on my yahoo email. i clicked on copy image (or something like that). i came back here. i opened the posting window. i clicked on img. i clicked on paste. i clicked on img. yay!

Nope, I even cut and pasted and still couldn't get it to work. Try this. Right click on the image and SAVE AS to your desk top, then post the pix from there.

nope. i can't believe this. it appears to me about three posts up from here. do you see it?

I followed the google and it showed up! Cute!
Earlier today I was moving things around and put an empty basket on the floor and my Yeti cat saw it and immediately took a nap in it. She moved to an open space and is now napping sprawled out! What a life! :lol:

bellaboo, please. how did you put that there? both of you: i tried to post my image. it came up with a yahoo address that didn't show. i had tried to post in img above the posting window. please take it from there. for dumb people please.

Certain types of files are just not going to show up - If you convert to a jpg, then attach,you can be sure it will, unless the file size is too big.What you were coping was a link that was not accessable to all. If you save the image as a jpg on your computer, then upload it, you'll be fine

what i have goes onto my desktop - no proble, it says "securedownload.jpg".

BUT when i try to attach nothing at all happens. the window stays blank. the attach box at the bottom shows the securedownload.jpg number, but nothing happens.

how are other people doing it?

When I saw the picture I right clicked and selected save image as. I saved it to my desktop. At photobucket.com (free) I selected upload pic and it saved the image in my album. Beneath each picture you have the link to post the picture. Just right highlight and copy. In the message here, right click and select paste. The IMG code will be put in the message and that's all you have to do. I would suggest you use Photobucket to store all your digital pictures. If your computer crashes your pics will be saved online. It's free to register there and if you need more space then the free, it's not expensive at all. I haven't filled up my free space yet and I have lots of pics uploaded.

I typed kitten in bowl in Google Images and the pic came right up. Lots more kitten in bowl pics are there too! So cute!

I don't think you can post a pic from you computer unless you have the HTML code for it. That's why it's necessary to upload to a picture site to get the HTML or the web address to where the pic can be seen.

Try this: any picture online, right click and select properties. That will give you loads of info about the picture.

i selected this from my own files. in this case bookmarks. you can see that you don't get the actual pic, but you get the link that takes you there .this case bookmarks.

youtube is certainly not private.

they give you a line to copy and paste the address. here it is in a link. that's it! the only ways i know to do it. this and cut and paste.
