Are you serious????? OMG--you would have to be a billionaire with the property taxes, etc. But very beautiful!!

Carol Ann 06-20-2011 09:52 AM

The best of luck with your new home. Send more pictures after you get all settled in.

Wow!!! I'll come to your party and bring the Chex Mix!!! You could have an entire wing for quilting!!! I can see it now.....the cutting room, the piecing room, the sewing room, the applique room.....

matraina 06-20-2011 10:54 AM

You're kidding, right? If not, will this get-together be catered? What's the dress code?

Minnisewta 06-20-2011 11:49 AM

What, no sewing room?

sunflower2011 06-20-2011 12:42 PM

Nursesews 06-20-2011 01:49 PM

Dahling,, is the heliport ready for my arrival??? Bring own scissors :-D :-D

linda701 06-20-2011 02:14 PM

Wow, do you have housekeepers?

Quilterfay 06-20-2011 05:16 PM

What a beautiful place to have a quilt studio. Or do you have a separate building for that? I would be afraid to mess up that mansion.

Just think of all the fabric you could buy for 12.5 million? But then if you can afford this house you can afford to buy as much fabric as you want.

Are you going to let us know if you are serious or pulling our chains?

deenatoo 06-20-2011 05:29 PM

I think we all need to move in so that we can just have one big quilting bee.....

milikaa1 06-20-2011 06:46 PM

That's your house?! whoa, nice.....

Gerbie 06-20-2011 08:06 PM

Last week I saw the news cast about the racing car magnate that bought Aaron Spellings 100 room house for his 22 or 23 yrs. old daguhter for a mere sum of 150 million. I told DH that evening that I was realy mad at him because he let that house slip by. Just think, I could have one room for a LA, one for cutting, one for piecing, one for sewing, and at least 3 for fabrics. Why I could have my own Quilt shop there. I have no idea what I would do with all the other rooms. I would probably get lost after I left my quilting area, so I would have to have at least one bedroom in the quilting area to rest.
They said there was a room just for gift wrapping, one for doing floral arrangements, and who knows what else.
When I win the lottery I may ask her if she wants to sell it, lol.

Also I think my tastes are a little more modest than some of those shown...All I want is is an up to $500,000 house (thousand not million - LOL), but I want it in Hawaii with an ocean view. That one will be small compared to the ones shown here, but once I convert the kitchen to a quilting room, it will be perfect (just need to make sure the phone works for delivery) :)

PS...IrelandDragon...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that movie, and have ALWAYS thought the house was the coolest thing!

ME TOO!! Hmmm hawaii sounds good, you could go out and just pick pineapples! yummy!!

 Going to and just pick pineapples....funny..., but only if you grow them yourself...I think it would be considered stealing from Dole! HA!

Oh, if you do win the lottery and move to Hawaii...build that dream house on any island but the Big Island....active volcano on one side and tidal wave danger on the other...I was born there. HA!
