Ah, a thread about floor plan porn.

My second favorite thing after quilting.

Here's mine:
http://www.bhsusa.com/manhattan/uppe...nhouse/1197484

I'll be turning it back into a single family home.

The 4th floor, with the double height ceiling, will be my quilt studio.

Stop by anytime.

Robin,
Have you picked picked out your quilting room yet?

MommaDorian 06-19-2011 04:57 PM

Ever read the Elm Creek Quilters series? I'm thinking that would make one nice quilting retreat house!

suebee 06-19-2011 05:17 PM

Holy crap!!! $20,000,000??? How much for just looking at the pictures?

moonwork42029 06-19-2011 05:23 PM

Oh goodie, we'll be neighbors... but don't ask to borrow my scissors...maid yes, scissors no!

Oh and don't try to use my stylist..no copy cats allowed in this neighborhood.

magpiefeather 06-19-2011 05:29 PM

Which room will the Quilting Bee be in...hopefully we can use the pool too? Love the baby blue decor in your new place! And only $12.5 million.....

Ramona Byrd 06-19-2011 06:37 PM

I want to live in your attic, you'd never know I was there. I love those far away views.

This is what I'm going to get when I win the lottery.

Ramona Byrd 06-19-2011 06:41 PM

I saw a short film of a 4 car garage in San Francisco, CA where the Victorian house had a frontage that slid back to allow 4 cars to inter the garage and then the facade moved back into place. You'd never know that they had such parking, looked like the other houses on the block. Most folks in such towns would kill for such a lovely and secure garage!!!

IrelandDragonQuilting 06-19-2011 06:44 PM

This is the one I would love to have! Doesn't exist in real life, but one day... sigh

Very cool.

Here's NYC's version of a secure garage.
The apartment itself is almost irrelevant - they wouldn't be anything special (although nice views) if they didn't have this special feature.

genafan201 06-20-2011 03:57 AM

I'd need more furniture :)

Also I think my tastes are a little more modest than some of those shown...All I want is is an up to $500,000 house (thousand not million - LOL), but I want it in Hawaii with an ocean view. That one will be small compared to the ones shown here, but once I convert the kitchen to a quilting room, it will be perfect (just need to make sure the phone works for delivery) :)

PS...IrelandDragon...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that movie, and have ALWAYS thought the house was the coolest thing!

kuntryquilter 06-20-2011 04:10 AM

Get together? I want to move in with you.

Laura3 06-20-2011 04:18 AM

Here is mine. My brother was looking to buy this house a few years ago before it was renovated. Price then was 35 grand. His bank said no cause of the area.

jaciqltznok 06-20-2011 05:28 AM

wow..as long as we are talking FLOOR PLAN PORN...here is mine...of course I can not decide if I am just CHEAP or easy..as it much cheaper than the ones you girls want...

JusticeClan 06-20-2011 05:59 AM
