I bought a new machine on Amazon and I've waiting for it to get here. Its supposed to be delivered on Friday.

I check the tracking this morning and see this:
August 31, 2011 01:49:00 AM San Pablo CA US Shipment damaged and will not be delivered

Has this happened to anyone? How do I get my money back to order a different machine?

Contact the seller and Amazon.

Sorry to hear! Hope you can get your money back, was it insured?

I would contact amazon and the seller to see if they can ship another one.

The shipper will send that machine back to the seller and reimburse the seller. The seller will just send you another machine just like what you ordered.

The damage is between the shipper and the seller. Don't worry about it.

Thank you Sissor Queen. I was thinking I needed to do something or what not

I have had two unsuccessful orders done through Amazon by third pary sellers who have promptly refunded the payment and sent return UPS shipping labels via email. If I find something on the web I then check if I can get it through Amazon. The sellers who list on there want to get good ratings- who doesn't want to be on the biggest site that people go to first? Although the end result wasn't what I wanted, these companies did refund quickly and got good feedback for their customer service.
