Thanks for the encouragement everyone. You should try it if you have the stuff. It's not complicated to set it up. I just cut a board wide enough to rest on the bars. and thought I would hold it on with bungee cords wrapped around the bars so I had him drill four holes in the corners, but I glued cushiony (it's a word now, lol) shelf liner around the board and found it doesn't move.

I walked four miles the first day between the treadmill and paper-piecing -- I make sure I have to walk to the ironing board to press each seam.

I never sit while online. I stand up.

Thanks for posting. I was recently wondering if that would work with my IPad. I will need to give it a try as I definitely need the exercise. I do have to get up and walk around my work area when I need to iron after sewing so I figure I get in a lot of steps. It just doesn't get my heart rate up. I also try to walk quickly up my stair steps if I'm not carrying anything.

Love it! One of these days I'd love to have that set up. When we purchased the house, there were a stationary bike and what the owner told me was a Nordic Track. Since she was selling some things before she moved out, I told her I was interested in them. Well ... yes, it was sort of a Nordic Track ... but it's made of WOOD!!!!
