Yesterday my daughter asked why I didn't do something useful with my time.
She suggested I go down to the senior center and hang out with the girls.
I did this and when I got home last night I told her that I had joined a parachute club.
She said "Are you crazy? You're way to old to start jumping out of airplanes?"
I proudly showed her that I even got a membership card.
She said to me, "Oh Mom!! ... where are your glasses!
This is a membership to a Prostitute Club, not a Parachute Club!"
I'm in trouble again and don't know what to do!
I signed up for five jumps a week!
Life as a senior citizen is not getting any easier. :hunf:

Still......it might be fun. LOL

Cute! I have reading glasses all over the house and yet I never have any when I need to read something. I have made some funny mistakes trying to read without them! Just wait till my DGS can read on his own and sees how I have butchered some of his books because I couldn't find any when trying to read him a bedtime story!

That is so funny. I generally don't have time to read the chit chat section, but I'm up really early this morning awoke at 4:00 and couldn't go back to sleep, so jumped on here sorry for the pun. I really needed a laugh to start my morning off before I get busy. My DH and I had a great laugh about this. I'm glad I wear my glasses all the time or I might do something like this. Hope you don't mind my sharing this with my quilting group on Sat. when we meet. This is just toooo funny to only keep on here. I do hope you have great fun!! lol.
