Bless your heart -- shingles are awful!!! Had chicken pox when I was a baby and shingles when I was 12. I can still remember how much it hurt...

Take it easy, rest as much as you can, and get well soon! :-)

I've got nothing to suggest, sorry.
You take care of yourself. ((hugs))

Please take the shingles seriously!!! You can get permanant nerve damage, my Aunt has had it. There is a new drug that helps with nerve pain, Lyrica. The Dr. gave it to me for fibromyagia, but I had too many side affects from it to stay on it. Try to read up on it if you can. The nerve pain can easily last 6 months.

I hope that you have a nice mild case.... Feel better!

Sending big hugs your way, Miranda, and hoping
you feel better real soon......(I thought only old

Oh goodness. I had them at age 24--but not a terrible case. There was a round spot on my back. It's so strange how it hurts all the way to the front--but only on half the body. I'm 48 now and haven't gotten them again--yet.

Now I've heard they are contagious. I was a waitress at the time I had them and the doc said since my spot was covered with a shirt, it was okay to go to work. But when the blisters pop--the fluid is contagious. A teacher had them last year and was told the same thing. It's worse to be near any woman who's pregnant.

Good luck.... it's no fun at all. :(

Aww, I sure hope you feel better soon. I had shingles on my legs in 5th grade, right before my sister's wedding. Not fun. I still have minor scarring from them.

I don't have any advice, but I'll pray that you heal fast and dont have the pain anymore. (((Hugs)))
