I haven't been called. Could it be that I used to work for the Parole Board and for the Department of Corrections?

I know it's my civic duty, but I hate it when I'm called.

I have never been called, but with my MCS I wouldn't be able to serve anyway. My husband was called one time, but he was having back problems and seeing a chiropracter and couldn't sit for any length of time so he was excused.

I have been called twice and had a letter from my Doctor saying I can't sit for more than 30 minutes or I experience terrible pain in my back and legs and I even told them I was on strong pain meds and they still wouldn't let me out so I just kept getting up every 15 minutes in the waiting room and walking around with my cane they finally let me go home. My husband was called but he was dismissed because his brother was an attorney in the same city

The first time I was called I was barely out of a year-long round of chemo and radiation. The hardest part was going up and down the stairs as they took us through the initial process. Fortunately I was in the first group of twelve to be interviewed. It was pretty clear that I didn't have the stamina for all night deliberations and I was the first to be excused. I was pretty proud of myself though that I had not directly tried to get out of it like some of the others.

I was called 3 days after bringing my 4 1/2 month old neonatal baby home from the hospital. He was on a heart and respiration moniter and on 14 medications and the only daycare I could find was $25. and hour for a registered nurse. I called and told them this and they said I had to appear so I took my son with me. We were there about 45 mins when he decided to quit breathing and the alarms on his moniter went off and the court officials went crazy. They asked me what the h*** was going on and I calmly told them he wasn't breathing and they said well do something. I only had to reach and touch his leg or startle him to get him breathing again but it really freaked everyone out so they let me go!

just tell them your a psychic and know who will win. I wonder if that would work. I have been called before and if and I hope never-- that I would just take a judge's answer some of the people you serve with are beyond words. -- J

I served on the jury of a statutory rape case of a 13 yr. old who bravely testified. I hope that serves my duty for the rest of my life.
