Thanks for posting your essay. You write very well; it's easy to see why your essay was selected.

You should consider taking more writing courses in college and doing something with it eventually. (Columnist? Article writer? Novelist?)

What major do you have in mind, by the way?

I will be taking Business Administration, which is a 2yr program. Thank you for your kind words, although I don't feel I am that good. I suppose I will be doing essays while in school and hopefully I will succeed while there.

I won't say you're professional caliber - yet - but I think you have the potential. (I've long studied writing, from the avid reader viewpoint, while editing content writing on the job and as an occasionally-aspiring writer myself.) I'm sure you'll do fine with academic and business writing, but consider taking a creative writing or journalism class, too.

GO GIRL. I also attended college after my children were gone. Great sense of self pride and achievement. You certainly are headed in the right direction for success.
