I just wanted to let everyone know that I attended the Ohio Writers Conference today and I had so much fun. It was truly an honor to have my essay selected and to have it published in a book along with others who attend ABLE classes across Ohio.

We enjoyed a continental breakfast and a wonderful lunch at the Marriott. Nationally recognized Storyteller, Lyn Ford and poet Ray Mc Niece were the guest speakers for the event. I am so honored to have met people who have shared their writings and accomplishments, today.

Business Management is what I am going to school for and at my age I would never had thought I would have this opportunity. I am finding college challenging, however it would have been much harder had I not started the ABLE program a year ago to become better prepared for college. It has been 35yrs ago since I graduated!!

I am so excited for you...you're going to college. I went back to school as an adult while working full time. It was a lot of work but I absolutely loved every minute.

Your essay was excellent...you will do very well in school. What do you plan to study? ;)

Because you haven't been in school for a number of years it may seem hard in the beginning. You just need to familiarize your brain to studying again, and taking good notes. Before you know it you'll be in the groove.
