Good luck, and yes better than nothing. I've applied at our local HL for part time work and have heard nothing; I have great craft experience, no retail experience other than shopping, but I feel sure my age is a deterrent.

Good for you, just think of the discount you can get for clothes. Great news. I volunteer at a food bank and the guys that work in the warehouse are grateful. Some of these men are older, in their late 50's, early 60's, and haven't worked for over a year before getting on with the food bank. When someone gets fired from there, it is something really bad. It really saddens me when someone loses their job. Good going Bebe.

Congradulations. Jobs are so few and far between today.I am so glad you got it.

My daughter got the news that she was "layed off" last week. No warning, no real reason just finances of the company which is kind of weird since its a medical company, things for surgery.. She said she really didn't understand it since they never had time to finish everything they had to do as it was. So she is looking again. She really wanted to stay with this company for a long time. And she at one time was considered for her bosses job but she was too new to the company. Weird huh? I am thinking it is because she hurt her back and was being treated for it. She never missed or slacked off at work though.
