Good! That is a sure sign that Spring is on its way! I think that we are all ready!

I have a Robin too, but not the kind you are looking at. Mine is 32. I use to call her Robin Bird as a child, and she hated it . lol

Lucky You!
So far we only have sparrows and starlings, but the cat outside has decided they are good for him to practice his hunting skills. |

I had robins about three weeks ago with two feet of snow on the ground. They were in the sumac bushes eating the berries. Then the same day I saw a blue bird. We usually do have the blue birds come early, but not the robins that early.

I have robins also! and so thankful to see them!!!!

I saw a flock of robins about two weeks ago and saw a bluebird last week. I know we have bluebirds in this area, but last week was only the third time in the 21 years I have lived in this house that I saw them.
I also see my crocus coming up. They're usually in blossom at the end of February because they're in a protected area against the house, but we had way too much snow and cold this year. C'mon spring, I'm ready! |
I've had a flock of Red Winged Black Birds here the last 2 days. Spring is coming!!!!

My DH just read where robins are beginning to winter over in many northern states as far north as Alaska! What is going on? We had a pair here all winter too - in Missouri!

We had our first robbins arrive last Sunday. We have had no snow this winter and everything is very, very dry. I also had a large crow in my maple tree outside the kitchen window last night. Spring is coming to northern Colorado.
