I made the front page
I made the front page of the Muscatine Journal. The New Era church out by/at Wild Cat Den state park, in Muscatine Ia. Had there 15th quilt show, Fri-Sat. 2 lady's from the journal was there talking and takeing pictures. Before the journal lady left. She say's to me you'll be in the paper. I didnt think the front page. I was surprised. Take care everyone. Don-isewman

you deserve to be in the paper ...and on the front page. your quilts are sll so eonderful!! your color & fabric choices go together so beautifully, your close up photos show that your piecing is done perfectly. i'm sure your family is very proud of your quilting & quilts ...and now they can proudly claim kindship with the local quilting rock star! :thumbup:

Wow Don , Congrats to you and I love your quilt that you are hand quilting. It must have been an amazing feeling to be hand quilting in the same space as some very antique quilts were on display. I envy you as I would have loved to been able to see these beauties. Just hearing the history behind them was amazing. Please keep posting your work and sharing your quilting stories..
