I love Autumn but so totally am with you on missing Summer. I start getting kind of depressed in August just knowing what is coming in a few months. Our winters in Ohio are so dreary and seem to last forever.

I am SO enjoying our fall weather! Our summer here was totally miserable. We had heat indexes of over 100 for almost 3 straight weeks. We did have a good bit of rain for it to be summer, but the heat was really oppressive. Now that it has cooled, we are having PERFECT weather! Our lows have been in the 40's and the highs in the 70's with no rain in several weeks. That's the bad part...now we are really dry and need rain. But, it sure has been nice, chilly (just a little) and WONDERFUL!

I prefer to be cold where I can cuddle up in a blanket than be hot and not able to get cooled off.

Oh me to, I've always said it's easier to warm up than to cool off but then in December of 2000 I was in SD and the temp with wind chill was 60 below, forget that theory.

give it to me ALL the time, light woodburner and keep warm --------I HATE HATE summer, prefer Autumn but love winter and spring.
