Look at me...do I look happy or what?

Today a package came in the mail for me from a member of the quilting forum (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) and I just have to show it off. I've never had a bed quilt before in my life, and this one has a mixture of patterns and in my favorite color and I love and will cherish it for the rest of my life. It is wonderful. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

thanks so much Janet. If it weren't for the quilt forum, I wouldn't have been able to make and give away as many dolls to kids with devestating medical problems as I have ...134 so far (most with cancer) (I've posted about the dolls) and never have met the lady and her daughter that gave me the quilt. The Lord works in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform. Merry Christmas and thanks for the reply. I also live in California.

I have been blessed, that is for sure. Hardly know how to thank her. She just said "Keep making your dolls'.

I plan to keep on keeping on at that. Would so like to have been a fly on the wall when those kids in N.C. got their doll at the hospital. I receive far more then I ever give by helping those kids.

That is a beautiful quilt. I have gone back and looked at it a dozen times. What is the pattern; and is it available on-line. I might learn how to do that to get that pattern. I am thinking of doing a sewing/quilting class after Christmas/New Year season is behind me. And that would be perfect.
