I'm destroying this fabric one chew and rip at a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feline fanatic 06-14-2010 02:46 PM

What a beautiful cat!

bj 06-14-2010 02:47 PM

Looks like somebody spilled catnip in the fabric box.

Luv Quilts and Cats 06-14-2010 02:48 PM

That's right! Tear up the fabric and she will spend more time with me, which is as it should be! I'll teach her to buy fat quarters. The only fat quarters she should be stroking are my fat hind quarters!!!! LOL (or should I say, snicker, snicker)

Alu_Rathbone 06-14-2010 02:49 PM

Thank you. He's my Ozzie! I was in the middle of making quilt blocks last night... and he wanted to destroy the box... I was constantly going OZZIE! He'd look up and then try and hide behind the box to act all innocent. he's my baby! I'm going to miss him while in school.

littlehud 06-14-2010 02:50 PM

What a beautiful cat. DD came out to my DGD cat doing the same to my center. Is it something in the air.

cjomomma 06-14-2010 02:59 PM

You don't know how badly I needed that laugh. I love your kitty.

sewjoyce 06-14-2010 05:00 PM

Ozzie is just precious!!

Boston1954 06-14-2010 05:29 PM

It won't work, kitty. Someone will just give her some more.

craftybear 06-14-2010 10:13 PM

cute cat, thanks for sharing!

no1jan 06-15-2010 12:20 AM

Ozzie is just helping make the perfect rag/crazy quilt! See he is more intelligent than you thought! :) :)

tmg 06-15-2010 02:21 AM

Got to love them. All our cats are outside at this time of year. They won't even come in to eat. Just wait til winter they won't go outside.

Quilt4u 06-15-2010 02:37 AM

Got to love them. They love it just as much as we do.

CarrieAnne 06-15-2010 03:49 AM

Aw, he is so cute! Maybe he thinksthere might be a cat treat in the bottom of the box!

Alu_Rathbone 06-15-2010 09:36 AM

Thank You. I'm just lucky he doesn't go running off with the squares of fabric.

My Mom brought home some crocheted granny squares back in October, and Ozzie stole them and decided they were his new toys. We can no longer find them, so I'm going to ask mom to make another one for him... He loves them.

Ms Grace 06-15-2010 09:50 AM

Ozzie is adorable! :D
Maybe, he was trying to help?

jljack 06-15-2010 01:13 PM

Ha-Ha-HA!! Bad little kitty!!!!

Alu_Rathbone 06-15-2010 01:22 PM

Trying to help? I don't think so. lol He's to cute! He's my moochki (don't ask ;) )

kwiltkrazy 06-15-2010 01:42 PM

Aren't furry babies funny. They all seem to gravitate to the quilting. My lab always had to hold down my quilts so they wouldn't fly away, don't know what i could have got accomplished without him.

granniebj 06-15-2010 01:44 PM

My cat loved to chew on boxes too! I had to put all my stuff in plastic tubs!

Sadiemae 06-15-2010 02:21 PM

When I had cats they would get inside boxes and play until they were tired--then they slept in them.

Be careful, my cat ate a few crocheted flowers. Fortunately, I saw her do it and was able to get her to the vet. They had to induce vomiting. Those don't pass through their tiny digestive tracts.

lol cat's do the darn-nest things.

julia58 06-15-2010 04:16 PM

What a pretty kitty, just trying to help get everything in order for ya.

MN QUILTLADY 06-15-2010 05:45 PM

Cats, you just got to love them, they are all so cute, when our family and friends pass on they should all come back as cats with angel wings.

b.zang 06-15-2010 06:49 PM

Man, how can you even think of quilting with such a cute show happening next to you? That's adorable!!

He has a lot of qualities that my late cat Bram (Christmas 2008) had. I think he came back as Ozzie.

We named bram after Bram Stoker, cause he would nuzzle into the neck.

What is funny, is that Ozzie loves to sleep by the neck and on his lower jaw line there are two black lines in the fur that look like fangs.

drdolly 06-16-2010 04:42 AM

They make you laugh. Always need a little entertainment now and then.

Alu_Rathbone 06-16-2010 09:20 AM

Definitely.

I know when he's about to cause trouble, because he'll sit there, and let out this meow that sounds very similar to chewbacca (not sure or care if it's spelled right) :D

hobo2000 06-16-2010 09:27 AM

You have made my day. I was so down, it is pouring outside and I am doing the "sit & stare routine". This gave me a laugh. How adorable! Thank you..

Alu_Rathbone 06-16-2010 09:29 AM

You are welcome.

They are really good at hiding things aren't they. Maybe I need to be more thorough in housecleaning. I would probably be surprised at what would show up Money ? Ha Ha ...that doesn't get lost . Don't have it long enough to lose it , LOL

Haha... Know that feeling...

debbieumphress 06-17-2010 09:18 AM

I love cats. SO playful and cute. I love the way my cats hide and jump out at me when I come by. They were made to give us joy and laughter. So cute.

Alu_Rathbone 06-17-2010 12:15 PM

Last night, I'm in the washroom... and the door is closed, but not completlt... Ozzie barges in like it's no ones busines...

betlinsmom 06-17-2010 06:32 PM

Kitties ARE the best!! My LeLu spends as much time in my sewing room as I do!!

Alu_Rathbone 06-17-2010 08:18 PM

My cat likes the kitchen... and thinks its fun to bother me when sewing... He was lucky the one time he placed his tail in the sewing machine and I just turned it off... the tip was almost sewn to the fabric!

JenniePenny 08-06-2010 11:01 AM

Hate to see bad things happen to fabric, whether purchased or donated!

Alu_Rathbone 08-06-2010 11:18 AM

Don't worry! All the fabric was put away! I just had to get a photo of him!

Ditter43 08-06-2010 03:04 PM

My cat used to do that...he loved plastic bags. Whatever was in one was fair game to him!..I do miss him, but I don't want to get another cat.......
