Did you hit it with a flower pot? It is a nice break for a quilter. Sorry couldn't help myself.

How in the world did you do that?
Make a little quilt commemorating the flower, LOL!
Losing one's computing abilities is like losing a best friend!! I'm so sorry for you.

I accidently closed the lid, with my ear phones inside. You have the same idea I had. I can do an applique of the flower, and call it busted screen!!!

It could be worse.

EasyPeezy 06-12-2011 12:04 AM

Ouch! We recently had our computer start smoking, was down for a week while my husband and son fixed it....I was in withdrawl.

CoriAmD 06-12-2011 06:20 AM

I see a flower quilt in your future.... ;-)

oatw13 06-12-2011 06:41 AM

That is horrible. I hope you are able to have it repaired.

Crabby Patty 06-12-2011 09:10 AM

Oh my. So sorry. I would be lost without my computer and this board.

valsma 06-12-2011 09:13 AM

Ouch!

BellaBoo 06-12-2011 10:24 AM

DGD busted her laptop screen. Her dad plugged the laptop to a stand alone monitor and it works great. Not so portable anymore but saved her a bundle getting it fixed or a new laptop. The next one she has to buy herself so she is happy with the set up. I have one I'm giving her when school starts again.

Marion T 06-12-2011 03:45 PM

Did you throw something at it? I've often felt like doing that, but never have.

dixiebelle162002 06-12-2011 03:49 PM

Sorry! I hope that it will stay working till you can get a new one.

QuiltnLady1 06-12-2011 03:51 PM

Ouch!! My son replaced the glass screen of his wife's laptop for about $100 -- he found it online. Said it was real easy.
