I want to share this photo of the foliage around the northeast end of Sunset Lake with my QB friends here, and I hereby invite you all to post more pictures of this genre here, to share. Nature is our inspiration, our source of refreshment and calm; invigorating, calling us to come out of our shells, come out and play....

We were out in IT alllll afternoon - Beautiful wonderful 'couldn't ask for better' weather!
Unfortunately I didn't take a single picture with a camera - only long looks with my eyes for memories. |
Speechless. That is so beautiful.
Beautiful, leaves are starting to turn, warm temps here. I would like it to be a bit cooler, still using AC during the day.
Thanks for the beautiful pics! :D

funny you should ask - just took this one this morning from the dining room patio door
Those are beautiful photos. Thanks to you both for sharing. I don't get out much anymore because both my knees are shot and I can't do anything about them for a while as I am 24/7 complete caregiver to my dh. One of these days.

A photo from a state where the seasons don't really change.
Fall is always late in my part of Texas, but I love looking at these pictures. Bautiful.
We don't have the hardwoods here so the change comes a little later, it is just starting with some of the low bushes soon the Tameric trees will start to change I promice to show pic when it happens untill then love to see the seasons change in the east.
Nice pictures. Thanks to all for sharing.
Lovely pics!
So beautiful. Our town is expecting temperatures in the high 90šs and even the 100šs. Not really excited about this continuing long hot summer.

Beautiful photos of my favorite season. Here in central Arkansas, the sumac is just turning red, and there's a bit of yellow in my Japanese maple. Otherwise, the world is still green.
Colors are nice but i still like green.I see green pine trees even in winter.Seeing green pine trees is getting old.Connie in CO

I have a few from this weekend.
I love the colors of Fall. Most of the brush is just beginning to turn. |
This picture would make a lovely quilt.. I can just see it...
Beautiful pictures !! Thanks for sharing.
If you don't mind, I'll copy yours for my screen saver. I grew up in northen Indiana and definitely miss the fall ... and the colors like the VT pic. Enjoyed everybody's pics as I now live in the high desert of AZ. Not too many hardwoods around here.
So that's what they look like - we've been out west 3 times and have never managed to see the Tetons in the daytime. Beautiful picture!

Beautiful pic's thanks for sharing

I took this several weeks ago on our vacation to North Carolina - Fall was just beginning to peep out. It was wonderful to walk the mountain paths when it was still very hot in Florida!

Beautiful picture. Unfortunately it's rained here all day!

Quote: Puffballs are ideal for beginning mushroomers because there are no poisonous species, and they're easy to tell apart from other groups if you pay attention. If a puffball has no stalk or "legs," and is pure white, soft, and undifferentiated (no separate parts) inside, then it's in an immature state, and it's a choice edible mushroom.
Puffballs beginning to turn yellow inside or are already forming powdery spores are too late to eat. But you may find them again in the same place the following year, when you can collect them when they're younger. (end quote) from the source: http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/Mus...0Overview.html |
Thank you all for sharing your photos. They are soooooooooo peaceful looking..........
