I'm in mid south AR. I still have the ac set on 72. It doesn't come on until mid afternoon as the mornings are cooler now. All the trees still have most of their leaves but they are falling, looks like a rain storm of leaves. It's normal to have the AC on during Thanksgiving week for us. Winter doesn't last long here. We usually get one or two days of snow but ice storms are normal and can be bad.

Our weather is very unpredictable. We had Snow on Halloween 150mi. North where our daughter lives. Cold, wind blows; not pretty at all.
The same time here, it was just cold. It is to be nice here this week then the rest of the month it is to be Snow, Cold, Rain and Wind.
The Old Farmers Almanac says the Winter will be cold and unsettled. Our area is to like the weather of around Halloween; listed above.
The El Nino is to blame for the uncertainty this Winter.

It is very different each day;

We have a snowy winter predicted. Thank goodness my DD and SIL live nearby while they are building. I will enjoy it while I can as they will be in the new house next year.
