We live in a rural area here in Central Oregon. People call it rural, I call is peaceful. When Amazon started offering one day shipping, I knew we wouldn't get that benefit, but we do! I ordered two replacement drill bits for my husband countersink set and they were here the next day, I was amazed.

Amazon Prime

I love amazon Prime! I love the free delivery, though you do have to watch because other stores my have it for far less and even with shipping it is less. Prime paid for itself within a month. And now I get it for 1/2 price and that makes it even more affordable. I purchase almost all my fabrics via amazon anymore or any store that will give me reasonable shipping and can deliver in one day. I am spoiled in that way.

Can you share how you get it for half price now?
Thx

All's well, etc. - my order arrived on Day 8.

via google: The Amazon Prime membership fee is $119 per year or $12.99 per month. However, college students can get Prime Student at the discounted price of $59 per year (or $6.49 per month). That's about half the cost of a standard Prime plan. Apr 8, 2019

that's funny, sounds like my husband, he told me UPS called and said they had to lay off 2 employees because they noticed there was a significant decline in the number of packages delivered over the past 6 months - LOL; well they did have to add employees at my new location in Texas! I do hate that when I am in CT I can get stuff in 2 days or less, but where I moved in Texas it is usually 3 days; they do need to pick up the speed!

! Too fast for me! Give me time to finish up my latest quilt before the next arrives! LOL

I had to order a text book for an online class last year. It was produced by the organization offering the course and not otherwise available. It took 2 weeks to arrive. And when it did they sent volume 1 from a different course and volume 2 for the one I was taking. Could not get it through to their customer service what they had done and I ticked off, as I had an exam coming up on the material in volume 1.

Finally they sent the correct book, it took 5 business days the second time around.

I ordered some beautiful Kaffe fabrics from a BC shop that does not have a mail order website. Ordered on Monday, delivered on Wednesday. I now she did not get it to the post office until either late Monday night or early Tuesday.
