(teacher problem) I talked to the principal before Christmas. I am just so Done with it and upset I am going to lay it all out to the teacher next week. If I didn't need the health insurance I would quit right now I am so upset. The teacher and I have talked several times. I am keeping a notebook of what is going on for my own protection. Wish me luck. Even chocolate and carbs no longer work to calm my nerves. I am going to talk to my sister in law about how to say this to the teacher. SHe just retired after 20 years as a principal. Wish me luck.

You can count it any way you want. I know i am trying to get back in the habit of exercising. I need to build up my endurance again. UGH. Even with losing down to my current weight, it blows my mind how quickly we can lost our endurance. Some of you know what I went through last year.......and for those who don't I will share. I went in the hospital with what I thought was pneumonia and found out I had lung cancer. I ended up having my lung removed and cant do as much as I had in the past. I really have to pay attention and pace my self.

Meanmom........I am praying for your situation at work. And i understand what you mean about needing the medical insurance.

Keep your chin up and know you are a better person than she is.

Congratulations to both of you for losing any amount of weight in December.

I was happy that I only gained 2 pounds. I was not actively trying to lose last month.

Dare I write this? There is a staircase across the road from me that has just over 90 steps that zig zag up a hillside. I need to start using the stairs on my way home from work. 14 years ago when I moved into this house I was doing the stairs 3 times a day. I doubt I used them 3 times all of last year.

I need a shove to get me walking up those stairs again. I am publically commiting to using the stairs once a week for the Month of January. I will post here each time I use them.

I am lucky that my Sunday job is a physical one. I am working on my feet for 8 hours lifting 10-40 pound totes all day. I just need to get moving the rest of the week.

Congratulations to both of you for losing in December. December is the hardest month to lose. I can no longer wear my 2 smalest pairs of pants. I put a pair on yesterday. They will button but would be uncomfortable to wear. Hopefully next week. I WILL get my lazy butt out of bed in the morning and jump on the elliptical! I know it is good for my nerves too.
If nothing is worked out after talking to the teacher I will go back to the principal. I can't keep working like it is now. I am not really confident that talking to her will help as we have talked before. There is another aide who is only in there a couple of hours a day who agrees with me.

Wow! Really? I won? The great thing is losing....any amount. I started at 264 Thanksgiving 2011 and am now down to 209. And thank you all for the support and accountability I needed to get back on track as I had been at a stand still from Aug to Nov, at least I didn't gain during that time. Dr wants me to lose another 30...one day at a time.
Congratulations to all for being here and making the effort, we're all winners!

UGH!!!! I hate getting sick. I woke up this morning with a raging sore throat and sinuses dripping. As the day progressed I have been feeling worse, to getting the chills and body aches. I pray that it isn't the flu. I know many who have had it here in my area. Now I am bundled up with the lap top in my lap. Keep going from freezing to burning up.

I am one who always has the ceiling fans going, now I have them all turned off. Not like me at all........I have taken some meds to help and now the nose is running like a dripping facet. I can deal with that.

I love my job and really don't want to have to call in. it is te first job I have ever had that I feel this way about. Working for a company that doesnt believe in micro managing is awesome. You are treated as the adult you are and you know what your job is and you do it.

And I still need to cut the 4 1/2 inch squares for the mystery quilt i am doing from the board. got the scrapes pressed last night now time for the cutting and i am too cold or hot to stand at the cutting table. It will get done.

I have rambled on enough.......I am going to try to sweat this out so I can go to work tomorrow.

Good night my friends

Oh, Cindy, I'm sorry you are ill again. A new job brings a new batch of germs, it seems. There is a nasty flu going around here. I hope we all sit it out. Sleep well and wake up feeling well.
Judy

Congratulations, shadowIrish.

I dont think I got it from work, they all stay away when sick, so if I am not better in the morning i will call in and go to a carenow clinic. i am changing docs and dont have an appointment with the new doc for 2 weeks and they close early on fridays. I hope to sleep well........having one of the hot spells right now. my feet feel like they are on fire. UGH what else can happen.

Ok - I'm in - might just be the motivation I need!

meanmom 01-03-2013 07:50 PM

Cindy I hope you feel better. There are all kinds of things going around here too. The teacher is coughing and feels ill but is there spreading her germs. One of the kids probably used a half of boxes of tissues today, the rest is all over us and on his shirt. We practically bathe in hand sanitizer in our room.
I will get my lazy butt out of bed in the morning and get onto the elliptical. I recorded a show to watch for an incentive.
