Your son must be one well-educated, intelligent young man. Congratulations to him. You must be a very proud mom and rightly so.
I usually don't watch very often because most times I don't even understand the QUESTION, and then I feel so stupid. I never was a Liberal Arts person so most of the subject matter holds no interest for me but I sure do admire and respect those contestants - just getting that far is an accomplishment. I'll be sure to watch on the 22nd and hoping your son won some big $$$ ! |
That's great. I'll watch for him. Sue

How exciting!!
My favorite show! Will view. Wish him gooood luck!
We'll be watching!
How wonderful...hope he won...
That's so cool! I used to DVR the show and watch it every day. I swear my brain has shrunk since I had to give it up due to lack of time. I have already set the DVR to watch your son.
That's fantastic.
we watch every night, and shout out the answers so they can get them right, but they don't always listen! lol. and we aren't always right. but jeopardy is interactive tv at our house! can't wait to see your son!
How nice..............
I got an in-person audition last year in Chicago for Jeopardy! ... so I'm still waiting to hear.
I hope I'll be home in time to see your son play. I hope he did well! |
Tomorrow's the big day!
You were probably in the same group with my son. He went to the auditions in Chicago. It was a loooong time before they called. At least a year.
I watched it today. Too bad he didn't win the final question. I was rooting for him.
Watching Tim now!! He has nothing to be ashamed of, played a good game.
Watching Tim now. Sue
My husband watches regularly, what fun, I will sort of know somebody on the show.
You ever notice how smart you are at home...... |
Tim did very well, he really knew his stuff and had the highest score before Final Jeopardy and he's good looking too.
Tim did a good job nothing to be ashamed. It's nice to watch someone you kinda know. He looks like a nice guy. Be proud. Sue
Well, I'm studying... just in case. I don't want to get the call and then think, "gee, I could have learned that stuff a year ago!"
Your son did a great job! And I was hoping for him to win too... but Jeopardy! is a real gamble. I usually do pretty well with the game but that last question is so random that I miss it about half the time. And after having been through that in-person audition... it isn't as easy as it looks. Anyone who makes it through a couple games has a high tolerance for stress. (I had to run off to the Cheesecake Factory in the bottom of the John Hancock Building to recover!) |
I enjoyed watching the show. Your son did a great job. He seemed to be really relaxed. Thanks for telling us so we could watch.
I felt so bad when Tim missed the final question. He was doing so well all along and had the highest total, but figuring how much to bet is such a giant gamble - you never know what the other contestants are doing.
He should certainly hold his head high, he did a great job. He should be proud of himself - I know you are, mom! And such a good looking guy, too! |
I thought he was going to win. He was doing so well until that last question too. Still, it's an accomplishment just getting on that show. Although I'm a good player at home, I'm sure I would get tongue-tied if I were ever there.
I went back and looked at the Final Jeopardy clue... I wouldn't have known that one either, although I've been trying to study explorers.
But it was fun to root for someone we "know"! |
