My son, Tim, will appear on Jeopardy. In most markets the episode will air on Friday July 22. Check your local listings. He can't reveal ahead of time how he did, but he said he wanted to have fun (he did) and not embarrass himself (he didn't). The show was filmed way back in March.

I've been told that over 180,000 people take the online quiz each year and between 2000-4000 get invited for auditions. Only about 300 get invited to be on the show after they qualify in auditions and mock games. |

My niece was on there a year ago. She said Alex Trabeck is not at all serious when the camera is off and quite funny. She came in second and I still think she was the winner. She named some obscure Egyptian princess that I'd never heard of and left out one letter.
