My neck cushion is "U" shaped and I love it also.

Love this pattern - am taking a trip with 2 girlfriends and will try to make each of us one.

Good job! I've never understood the need for the handles. Am I missing something?

I use mine more toward the shoulder instead of behind the neck. Prevents the stiff neck that develops when my head plops over when asleep in the recliner. It also can be positioned to keep the jaw from dropping open!! (Love the comment about the handles going over the ears!)

I've made 2 now & I stuff them until they weigh 10 oz. I have a small postal scale & can weigh them before I make the final stitch up in the opening. DH & I like the same amount of stuffing. :)

I absolutely CANNOT believe my good fortune in seeing this post! I have had what I call "my dog bone" pillow for nearly twenty years. It was bought in a Wmart on our way to GA when my grandson was 7 months old. He will be 20 this coming Sept. I have many issues with back, neck etc. and this particular pillow has been the ONLY one that I can use comfortably. Any or everything else is either too firm or causes me more trouble with my neck than I begin with. I have tried to push it near paper and trace the lines (with little to no success when trying to sew it), and I have Googled till I'm blue in the face . . . and now here . . . the precious pattern I've been looking for. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS LINK!

May not have mentioned that my pillow is getting very worn. I'm so delighted to have seen this . . . I've printed my pattern and now I'm good to go I think!

That is my kind of neck pillow. Very pretty design, and I really like the handles.
